my Bali travel diary: part 1

Bali has been my dream for so long-every time I scroll through my Instagram feed I always come across dreamy photos of luscious palm trees, white sandy beaches and sensational views. All I ever talk about is how much I would love to go to Bali…In December, I booked my trip to Bali and anyone who knows me would say that I am nothing but excited and slightly obsessed!!

This is the first post of my “Bali travel series” (this is the start of a series that will continue on my blog whenever I travel) and I have split it up into three sections: part 1, part 2 and my complete guide to Bali. I aim for this to be a regular feature on my blog, however, as much as I would love to be, I am not always traveling!

I have been ever so lucky to have been staying in the Griya villas and spa in Amed (this was my second location in the country, but it has been my favourite, hence why I am starting with it first). The weather has been surreal and everything has never been too far from perfect.

My dress is from Zara, however, it is from last season. You can find a similar one here or here. My bag is from Asos and I take this to the beach every time I go.

Although you cannot particularly see my bikini (oops!) it is from Mara Hoffman, but unfortunately it is sold out…you can find a similar one which is available on Asos.

When I was staying in Uluwatu (the first destination in Bali), we took a day trip to Nusa Lembongan. This was a small island off the coast of Sanur. It was reminiscent of the Caribbean and the sea was the most beautiful colour I’ve ever seen!

This photo was taken in Jimbaran and if you are visiting Bali this is THE BEST place to come for sunsets and seafood (both are some of my favourite things to do).

The t-shirt I am wearing is from Zara and says “stand up for love” (a bloggers favourite), but I believe it is sold out so click here for a very similar one. My skirt is from Topshop, get it while you can!

My black bikini is from Zaful and I absolutely love it despite my preconceptions on the quality. It is simply a must have wardrobe staple.
