What I’ve been wearing this week- February

Hello lovelies, it feels so long since I took the time to sit down and write; it feels good to get back into the swing of posting and producing great content again for you guys. After a mini break, I am back and ready to share some exciting new content with you. Sometimes you need to take time for yourself and put yourself first and that is so ok! So, today I wanted to share with you what I have been wearing lately. At the end, I will be announcing some exciting trips and events I have lined up.

It’s now (nearly) the middle of February and it’s still freezing cold. The weather in London has either been wet and windy or super freezing cold; there’s no in-between. Unfortunately, that still means winter attire: big coats, beanies and knitwear. But, on the plus side, brands have finally started to release some of their spring collection which makes me very, very excited.

Since it’s still super cold in London I have seen myself reaching for chunky knits and t-shirts to wear underneath. I picked up the most GORGEOUS white mohair knit in H&M trend. It’s rather cropped which is why I layer a plain white tee underneath. You can pick this up online and they also have multiple colours, but I think the white is super chic and perfect for the February weather. Not to mention the sleeves balloon out, making a really elegant outfit. Shop the jumper here: H&M knit.

My coat (actually my mother’s!), is from See By Chloe. I believe she purchased this off Net A Porter last year but I have found some similar ones at a range of different prices. I adore this coat, but it is slightly too big for me, but lets just say we’re going for the “oversized vibe”…This classic peacoat will never fail to serve cold winter February days, plus it’s a staple and goes with pretty much any outfit.

    Here are some similar peacoats:

My jeans are from JBrand- they’re last season but a lighter wash is nice to wear coming into spring. JBrand make the best jeans, there’s no doubt about it! My favourite cut is the Selena. The Selena’s come in SO MANY different colours and materials: leather, PVC, coated lace, light wash, dark wash etc. The kick-flare at the bottom is perfect for girls who are more petite. I got mine in the sale at Trilogy, but you find them on Net A Porter, Selfridges, Asos etc.

Here are some of my favourite pairs of the Selena:

My shoes are from Golden Goose Deluxe Brand which you can buy on Net A Porter (there are loads more!). These were a Christmas present and I have NOT stopped wearing these. Of course, I wouldn’t dare to wear them out in the rain, but when the sun is shining, they are my go to shoes!

Finally, onto my accessories. So, if you didn’t know, I may have gone and treated myself to the new Stella McCartney mini Falabella bag…This was a bag I had been wanting for way too long. I was in two mind about what colour to get, but I decided on a duck-egg blue mini Falabella. This was definitely an investment piece which I will love and cherish forever. I will be doing a review of the bag in around two months time on how well it has worn and my thoughts etc. My hat is simply a cool blue beanie from Topshop.

Finally, I thought I would finish today’s post off by announcing some exciting travel plans. I will be visiting Amsterdam for the weekend and then, shortly after I will be in New York. There are more, however, they aren’t as soon so I won’t announce those just yet!
