Yes, you heard it right: the heatwave is coming. Repeat: this is not a drill, the heatwave is coming! London is looking bright, and very hot this week. It was only two days ago that my faux fur coat had it’s unfortunate last debut for this season…However, although my faux fur coat has sadly been put away, my dresses and skirts are coming out. Since London has had a sudden turn of heat, I thought it was the perfect time to share with you my favourite pieces to prepare your wardrobe for the sunshine.

Lessons I learned from being in New York City

Following my touchdown in London two days ago, after taking the biggest bite out of the big apple, I took a moment to sit back and really think. How to wear colour in the colder months

Miraculously, the weather in London has somehow got colder again…I cannot remember the last time I started a blog post by not discussing the weather! I always find myself wearing darker colours in the colder months: blacks, greys and navies. It so hard to no reach for the blacks and greys in our wardrobe, but even harder to find a coloured item to throw on and style. One of my new year’s resolutions was to add more colour into my wardrobe; not that I wear black all the time, I don’t. To be honest, I actually wear a generous amount of colour. However, I know that for a lot of people, including myself from time to time, it can be easy to choose the easy option of a black knit and a pair of black skinny jeans. But, just because it’s darker in the evenings and colder outside, it doesn’t mean that we have to limit ourselves to two colours!
