Yes, you heard it right: the heatwave is coming. Repeat: this is not a drill, the heatwave is coming! London is looking bright, and very hot this week. It was only two days ago that my faux fur coat had it’s unfortunate last debut for this season…However, although my faux fur coat has sadly been put away, my dresses and skirts are coming out. Since London has had a sudden turn of heat, I thought it was the perfect time to share with you my favourite pieces to prepare your wardrobe for the sunshine.
Miraculously, the weather in London has somehow got colder again…I cannot remember the last time I started a blog post by not discussing the weather! I always find myself wearing darker colours in the colder months: blacks, greys and navies. It so hard to no reach for the blacks and greys in our wardrobe, but even harder to find a coloured item to throw on and style. One of my new year’s resolutions was to add more colour into my wardrobe; not that I wear black all the time, I don’t. To be honest, I actually wear a generous amount of colour. However, I know that for a lot of people, including myself from time to time, it can be easy to choose the easy option of a black knit and a pair of black skinny jeans. But, just because it’s darker in the evenings and colder outside, it doesn’t mean that we have to limit ourselves to two colours!
Hello lovelies, it feels so long since I took the time to sit down and write; it feels good to get back into the swing of posting and producing great content again for you guys. After a mini break, I am back and ready to share some exciting new content with you. Sometimes you need to take time for yourself and put yourself first and that is so ok! So, today I wanted to share with you what I have been wearing lately. At the end, I will be announcing some exciting trips and events I have lined up.
Hello darlings, today is all about new season now! Honestly, this is the most awkward time of the year for shopping: sales are still on and new season pieces have not nearly finished coming in. It is an in-between season that no one really knows how to dress for. However, the other day, I was browsing through Topshop and noticed all of their GORGEOUS new pieces. Long, midi and maxi dresses, silk blouses, an updated mule. Everything they had was insane. I have to be honest, I have not shopped in Topshop for a while, but I am not skipping this opportunity to grab some fabulous pieces.
Winter is possibly the most depressing month. You feel tired, cold and out of money. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one! The aftermath of Christmas proves difficult for everyone. However, wandering the empty streets of Chelsea makes it somewhat better in the short term…
After my long needed break over Christmas, I am back just in time before the new year commences. So today, I am sharing my winter outfit (featuring some new pieces!).
